Small book is tight, square, sharp-cornered and free of markings or flaws inside and out, printed on Van Gelder Holland paper. This is a Near Fine copy of this Limited Edition - printed exclusively for members of the Bibliophile Society. The poems are prefaced by a centennial address made by Buxton Forman. The volume concludes with a set of original verses addressed by Buxton Forman to his wife. These poems were dispersed by the poet's son upon his death at a fairly famous auction, and were purchased by Henry H Harper who sold them to the Bibliophile Society. In a custom Near Fine slipcase with leather spine quarter-bound over checkered paper on rest of slipcase. Leather has bright gilt lettering to spine and floral decoration. We have several other books in this same slipcase from the same estate library, including from Matthew Arnold.
