Midwest Antiquarian Booksellers Association (MWABA)

Promoting the appreciation of books, maps, and ephemera

Established in 1977, the Midwest Antiquarian Booksellers Association (MWABA) is a non-profit, professional organization of approximately 50 booksellers who deal in antiquarian, rare, collectible and used books, and related items. Members are from the Midwestern United States. The group strives to promote the appreciation of books, maps, and ephemera among the general public.

MWABA sponsors book fairs in the Chicago area. A portion of our book fair admissions proceeds is donated to libraries or to other book or literacy-related causes.

AbeBooks is proud to work closely with a number of bookseller associations around the world who are dedicated to upholding high professional bookselling standards.
