Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. Illustrated by Jessie Willcox Smith (illustrator). Reprint. It seems that the classic nursery rhymes are somewhat out of fashion thesedays. Children seem to be born with an iPone or Ipad in their hands, and pulling them away can be a challenge. But this book of pretty much every nursery rhyme your ever heard and then some, accompanied by the exquiste illustrations be Jessie Wilcox Smith, might just change that. Smith was an American illustrator during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She is considered by many to be the greatest children's book illustrator. This edition was published by Derrydale in 1986. The book is NF and appears unread. There is a small amount of foxing to the fore edges. The dust Jack has light shelf wear to the edges, but the book is certainly in giftable condition.
