Staining to silk ribbon placemaker. Binding is sound. An admittedly worn but still quite handsome limited first edition of this novel by Gunter Grass. This limited first edition of The Meeting at Telgte was privately printed exclusively for Members of The First Edition Society.

This is beautifully bound in dark brown padded leather embellished with gilt lettering and design on the spine and front AND rear boards. Additionally, it has silk endpapers, gilt page edges, and it has a "bound-in" silk page marker. A few art renderings are interspersed. Pristine condition. Photos upon request.
