The is the life story of the author, told in a very humorous vein, of this early life in the uneducated Ozarks of Missouri, then moving to Winfield Kansas for his growing years and the on to Ottawa Kansas for college where he graduated in 1917. Escaping WWI he did graduate work at the U of Chicago and U of Pennsylvania before returning to Ottawa for a teaching career at the high school and the college where he stayed until 1961. The book is full of humorous life events and learning experiences. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket. Signed by Author(s).
