The dj, now in a clear plastic cover, has a wrap-around color illustration by Frank Tenney Johnson. The dj's spine is sun-darkened, and the dj has moderate edge wear including erosion in the spine head and rear top. This copy has the right look for an old children's book, though collectors would hope for less wear. Fair condition (no dust jacket).
