Flaws: 1) moderate page tanning, heavy around outer edges, 2) paper residue stuck to front end paper under front DJ flap where this was glued to book & tore. The unclipped DJ is downgraded to Good due to modest edgewear all around, & a large missing chip from top outer corner of front cover, as well as residue of old price sticker here. somewhat shaken, slight corner bumping. In this institution he kept a diary, comprising of illustrations, cartoons and jokes  a tenuous attempt to keep his sanity. The diary is reproduced in entirety. The author delves into this mystery (why did Charles necessitate institutionalisation?) And why the secrecy from the family?  He attempts to find out why. The dust jacket has numerous tears across both top and bottom edges, and rubbing of the surface, with slight loss of colour. There is no equivalent damage to describe of the book.
