Medium 8vo, brown cloth with black lettering on spine, minimal shelf wear but boards are bowed, golden end papers, faint foxing to top edge and a few spots on front-matter pages, in unclipped DJ with edgewear, a 1/4" tear in top of rear panel, soil to flap folds. Marginalia by former owner Prof. Warner Berthoff in pencil on approximately 20 pages.
