First Edition
Booklet. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket As Issued. George Alfred Williams (illustrator). First Edition. The Adventures of Jack and Betty was written by Clara Andrews Williams and illustrated by George Alfred Williams. The book was published by The Crowell Publishing Company in 1914 and appears to be a First Edition though it's not specifically stated as such. It's not an ex-library copy and is, actually, a booklet in good condition with 8 pages including the front and back covers. The illustrations are colorful and charming, but what sets it apart is: "Follow these instructions carefully and you will not only go on an adventure with Jack and Betty, but you will have two delightful little paper-doll toys to play with." They're still there and have not been cut out and used. It's an interesting vintage piece. Thank you!.
