Section of spine torn, rear board darkened, corners and spine edges worn, front ffep stuck down with 2.5cm high strip cut away from bottom edge of first three leaves, and small triangle from bottom of fourth, sections loose and rear hinge split, plates largely clean and front board reasonably bright, poor condition.

The French volume is stiff wraps with black printed paper wrapper in the original clear celluloid cover. The black outer wrapper is wrinkled. The celluloid is about fine, as are the contents. Slight offsetting to the endpages and pages opposite plates. Signed to the colophon by Derain. The hardcover volume in English includes the original celluloid cover in excellent condition and is fine but for the slightly sunned spine. Most pages are unopened. The slipcase is mildly sunned, rubbed and dust soiled. ; quarto; Signed by Author.
