Book
Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. This booklet is in very good condition. There is wear on the edges but no tears or stains. This souvenir booklet from the famous "Underground Tours" is about the forgotten city which lies beneath Seattle's modern streets. The Seattle fire in 1889 wiped out 66 square blocks in the heart of downtown Seattle. When the city was rebuilt, the streets were raised one story, making possible the underground city. The cover shows a mural painting of the fire. There are many black and white pictures and the inside back cover shows a map of the area. Proceeds from the sale of this book benefit environmental restoration and education.
