Book has quite strong foxing on page edges and shelving soil on upper edges; pages well-toned but clean and unmarked; binding strong and square though lies flat at pp.72-73 with slight separation. Cloth clean and very sharp with shallow horizontal crease across mid boards on cloth and endpapers with no associated effects. Jacket has moderate rubbing with touches of surface loss along edges, heavier at spine and hinge ends; moderate overall soil with occasional heavier smudges; touches of rubbing mid front panel.
