Regarded as the ÔDean of American jazz bass players, Milt Hinton (1910 - 2000) was also renowned for his skills as a photographer, documenting the American jazz scene throughout his career, which included being a regular in the Cab Calloway Orchestra, as a successful studio musician, and touring with Louis Armstrong. This book is an intimate portrait of that world, compiling 200 moments captured as only an insider and a participant could.
