Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Marjorie Lee Ullberg (illustrator). 1st Edition. The cover has blue cloth with dark red letters. 316 pages; b/w illustrations. This title is a sequel to The Wagon to the Star; in this story, Mary is in college. Most of the top edge of the spine strip is chipped. The top edge of the front board has two 1/8 in. threadbare spots; the back board has a linear 3/8 in. threadbare spot. The text block ends have darkened; the top end has four stains, 1/4 in. to a 1/2 in. line. The binder's glue has darkened the pastedowns. DJ: Chips are along the top edge and less so on the bottom edge and one fold. Shelf wear soiling is mostly on the back panel. Most of the front panel and the top end of the back panel are wavy.
