Inscribed by author and signed using the pseudonym Greg Mason -"To Luke Rowand, because he is a good editor of America's best weekly newspaper-even if Republican." Dated Jan 30, 1937. Original sand colored cloth with titles in dark brown and borders in orange. Binding sound and contents complete, but lower board gnawed at edge, presumably by a small rodent. Aside from this flaw the book is sound and neat. Unusually inscribed by author and uncommon thus. G+; Signed by Author.
