The front corners are rubbed through to the board. Two scrapes are along the front edge of the back board. Dots of red ink are on 2 in. of the bottom end of the text block. A gift inscription is on the front endpaper. Lots of ink scribbling is on the title page's illustration and on the last 5 letters of the author's signature. Large ink scribbles are on 5 other pages.
