Condition: Very Good. This detailed street plan of Colorado Springs, Colorado was published around 1955, based on the names and locations of the military installations depicted across the city. Railroads, city streets, and highways are simply depicted and clearly labeled, with notable landmarks, important buildings, and subdivisions individually labeled. Inset maps of Manitou Springs and Security, Colorado are shown on the left and right, respectively. A comprehensive street index is provided along the bottom of the sheet. Blank on verso. Sheet Width (in) 17.25 Sheet Height (in) 24.25 Condition Description "Formerly folded into 12 panels, with creasing and some wear along former fold lines. A 2" tear in the upper left (near the 5 in the border) has been repaired on the verso, along with small bits of separation at fold intersections. The paper is slightly toned, consistent with age, and remains in good to very good condition overall.".

Garfield, etc. auto roads, railroad routes, the Broadmoor, Stratton Park, Colorado Springs, etc. A nice two panel view of a canon scene in the Pikes Peak region. Views of Hidden Inn at Garden of the Gods, Ute Pass, golfing, etc. Twelve panels with each providing a sketch and view of the Palisades, Cliff Dwellings at Manitou, Crystal Park auto road, Mt. Manitou scenic incline, Ute Indian Trail to Cripple Creek, Cog Road Station on Summit of Pikes Peak, and others. Covers lightly soiled, spine lightly rubbed, two staples are missing but the panels display well. A very good, attractive item.
