Woodbury was also a longtime employee of Gannett Papers in Maine and editor of various papers. In one interesting reminiscence Boyle credits Helen Havener, possibly the first female city editor of a a consequential New England paper, with giving Boyle his first job in 1919. Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 279 pages, many b/w photos from Portland papers and several b/w illustrations. Inscribed by Author(s).
