The board slipcase has a matching paper with colored design upper and lower edge. The case is rough with light dirt, wear and rubbing. But it has done an admirable job protecting the books. Except for a small bump to the upper edge of the back board of the first volume and very slight discoloration upper spine of volume three; the books are in near new condition. Text is tinted mustard on upper edges. Clean and solid in binding with no ownership or other markings. 576 illustrations; facsimiles and maps, including 13 plates in Photogravure. Extensive Index located at the end of the text in volume three. A very nice set. Due to the size and weight of this book set, it may require additional shipping. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Set.
