Condition: New. Boxed and unopened in original plastic wrap. The image is 20 x 29 inches when the puzzle is put together. One of Pomegranate's high quality puzzles featuring works of art by a wide variety of artists. The original piece of art is in the collection of High Museum of Art in Atlanta. It is an expanded version of Rembert's "The Dirty Spoon" which was originally done around 2002. The High Museum also dates this expanded version as 2002 but we believe that it was actually done by Rembert a few years later.

Hardcover. Condition: New. Dust Jacket Condition: New. Winfred Rembert (illustrator). 1st ed. 70+ full page color illustrations of Rembert's painting on carved and dyed leather, xvi, 284p. Original red cloth backed in black material. dj. 25 cm. Foreword by Bryan Stevenson. We generally don't sell new books but decided to stock copies of our beloved friend's newly published memoir. We first met Winfred in 1995 and got to see him take his first steps toward becoming an artist and then watch as it quickly became clear that he was a great artist, carving, tooling and dyeing one colorful painting on leather after another documenting events in his life and showing what life was like for African Americans in the South. What a privilege it was to have Winfred in our lives for 25 years and what a privilege it has been to get to know Erin Kelly as she worked tirelessly with Winfred to help him write this memoir.
