Introduction by Beatrice Davis, index of authors with brief biographies and selected bibliographies. Light lime green coloured end pages. The text is illustrated with colour and black-and-white photographs and illustrations. Colour laminated illustrated boards, being a reproduction of a Brett Whiteley painting called "Summer at Carcoar". Yellow coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper, same illustration as to the underlying boards, with yellow coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Colour photograph of Beatrice Davis to the rear panel. First published in 1984 under the title "The Illustrated Treasury of Australian Verse." Title says it all, the poetry is selected from across time. Minor rubbing of the book corners and back strip edges. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels with a 0.25" tear to the top right-hand corner of the front panel.
