Short enough to read to very young children, the text states the obvious in a way that they will find very satisfying. Outlined in bold, black lines, the watercolor illustrations show up well, with figures standing out against the broad, white backgrounds. As simple and pleasant an explanation of day care as one could hope for, this picture book will attract a wide audience in the age range.
