Ages 2^-4. "Where's Bunny?" He's at day care, where he spends the morning painting, playing, and baking. "Where's Bunny's mommy?" She takes the bus to her office, where she heads for her desk. The two questions alternate throughout the day as they both have lunch, and then Little Bunny has nap time, story time, and play time, while Mommy works at her computer, buys a carrot treat, then picks up Little Bunny to take him home. Short enough to read to very young children, the text states the obvious in a way that they will find very satisfying. Outlined in bold, black lines, the watercolor illustrations show up well, with figures standing out against the broad, white backgrounds. As simple and pleasant an explanation of day care as one could hope for, this picture book will attract a wide audience in the age range. Children about to begin day care will find it a reassuring introduction, while veterans will enjoy seeing Little Bunny act out so many familiar experiences. Carolyn Phelan
