    258pp, (5 x 7.5 inches), b&w photos, bibliography. Only Good condition/ no dust jacket. Hardcover, red boards, lightly worn and soiled. Corners and spine ends are a little rubbed. Front hinge wobbly, cracked open at title page, partly detached. The rest of the binding is sound, owner's name, but pages clean, no tears or creases. There were some pencil scribbles on a couple of blank pages, now erased, but you can still see impressions in the paper. All plates are present, but one loose, just laid in and has a two inch tear. Group dances, singing games and dances for children. Directions, diagrams, music. The photographic plates, which show people performing the dances "back in the day," are priceless.

    3. (illustrator). 16pp, (6.5 x 9.5 inches), b&w photos. Only Fair condition in stapled wrappers (soft cover). White covers are soiled and sunned (darkened), light speckled foxing inside covers and on first two pages. Top of spine bumped, top corner creased at the tip. Inside, the first page corner is also creased at the tip, and has a tiny edge tear. Pages have pulled loose from the staples in the covers, and some are separating along the spine crease. But they are still clean, no creases, no markings. The first page is addressed to "our Allied guests" who are living in a war-shattered France, and explains that this is a special production designed to show how the Paris Opera trains a dancer and prepares a ballet.
