First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. David Sagarin (illustrator). 1st Edition. First US edition, first printing. A very good book - the book is actually in beautiful condition with trifling wear. However along the lower edge runs a series of small black marks - the remnant of an older style of jacket 'protector' (this type frequently ended up doing more harm than good!). A little of this has leaked onto the pastedowns and endsheets. There is a bookplate on the front end page and one ink notation (4 words) on one of the copyright pages - other than these, everything is pristine. The dustjacket is in fine condition, with virtually no wear, neither faded nor price-clipped.
