Condition is good for this fragile, limited edition printed item. Contents: note on the "Orchestre National de l'Opera de Monte-Carlo by Emmanuel Bondeville; titlepage with the featured works: Don Giovanni (ouverture), Mozart; Suite Provencale, Milhaud; Chants Populaires Hebraiques: Separation & Berceuse, Milhaud; Le Creation du Monde, Milhaud; Nozze di Figaro, air de Figaro et Don Giovanni, air de Leporello, Mozart; Symphonie no 35 K 385 "Haffner", Mozart. Concert notes on Milhaud & Mozart with several quotes by Milhaud in these notes on him; note on conductor Serge Baudo & note on baritone Gabriel Bacquier by Martine Cadieu. This Milhaud commemorative concert program is a rare item; this copy carries the printed copy number 5 on inner back cover above drawing of the Palais in red. Provenance: this copy belonged to British born actor of stage & srceen, Brian Aherne (1902-86) & his wife Eleanor; both knew Princess Grace (Kelly), and attended this concert at the Palais de Monaco on August 11, 1968. Item is not signed. (French text). Seller Inventory # ABE-113295854

Knowing your interest in early Texas poetry (1879 seems to be considered early these days), I take the liberty of sending you a copy. I picked up four, or five copies at ten cents each; so please accept this one with my compliments. I have no idea whether it will be of any interest to you at all. I have not been able to find out anything about the author or to find anyone who ever heard of him. Sincerely yours, Myra Black.". Seller Inventory # ABE-148419174
