Bright yellow buckram printed in gold and black on spine. Fine in fine publisher's slipcase. This publication was created to raise money for the AIDS Crisis Trust. Editor Stephen Spender invited British and American authors to contribute texts that could accompany artist David Hockney's specially drawn alphabet. Special issue in yellow buckram binding, limitation unspecified, signed by Stephen Spender and David Hockney on the limitation page. Prints original contributions by twenty-seven authors, one for each letter of the alphabet (plus '&' by T. S.
