The Property of S R Christie-Miller (1927) With 63 plates The Library of S R Christie Miller belonged to Samuel Christie-Miller, an English businessman and politician who inherited the library from William Henry Miller in 1852. William Henry Miller was a Scottish book collector and parliamentarian whose collection formed The Britwell Library, which was noted for the number, rarity and condition of its examples of early English and Scottish literature. In original paper wraps. Externally, generally smart with some edgewear. Wear to spines. Spotting to wraps of all volumes. Dampstaining to 1923. Internally, firmly bound.
