Containing: Volume I: A-G Volume II: H-Q Volume III: R-U Volume IV: V-Z and Addenda Volume V: Second Addenda and Indexes Algernon Graves was also the author of The Royal Academy Exhibitors, The Society of Artists Exhibitors, The British Institution Exhibitors, and The Summary of Waagen. Bookplate of the Society of Writers to His Majesty's Signet to front pastedown of each volume. Bookseller's label of one William Brown to one front pastedown. Complete in five volumes. In half-morocco bindings. Externally, sound, though with some light rubbing to the extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound. Rear hinge of one volume has failed. Two joints starting, with one board nearly detached. Ink signature to front free-endpaper, and the occasional ink annotation. Pages are bright, and quite clean, with just a few instances of spotting.
