Pitman presumed first edition. Undated, but c.1920. The book is in very good condition in a good dust jacket. Green cloth boards, clean but lightly marked. Binding tight, small price inscription, pages tanned. Colour frontispiece of a Tapestry Woven Silk Panel of the Egypto-Roman period. Book seller's stamp to rear free endpaper. The jacket shows signs of handling, and is marked, bumped, and chipped. Part of the front cover has been damaged by the past removal of (presumably?) a price sticker. However, the jacket remains intact. Part of the Pitman's Common Commodities and Industries Series. 128pp plus 24pp of publisher's advertisments.
