About the Author:

Dr. Maisie J. Meyer was born in Calcutta, India, and hails from a Baghdadi Jewish family. She has a PhD from the London School of Economics and has traveled the world to lecture on Baghdadi Jews in the eastern Diaspora. She lives in London, England.
