About the Author:
Allison Mitcham is a professor emeritus of English at the Universite de Moncton. She has published more than twenty books, poetry as well as prose. Several of her books have been on best seller lists and one, Taku, won British Columbia's Lieutenant Governor's award in 1994.

Theresia Quigley is professor of English and Comparative Literature at the Universite de Moncton. She is the author of two collections of poetry: Mid-Life poems(1988) and A Journey of Circles(1993). She has written a collection of literary essays, entitled The Child Hero in the Canadian Novel(1991) and she co-edited an anthology of poetry, Poetic Voices of the Maritimes.
