About the Author:
Anthea Phillipps has worked as an ecologist in Kinabalu for many years and is widely recognised as one of the foremost authorities on the flora of the region. She lives in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Francis Liew is a senior member of Sabah Parks, and has been instrumental in both preserving the region's rich biodiversity and developing its flourishing ecotourism programme. He lives in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
