From the Inside Flap:
SAMPLE PRAYEREl Shaddai, God Almighty, I am full of praise because I know that those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.* Because of this, I trust that when I go through deep waters, Your power will hold me up. When I go through rivers of difficulty, Your greatness will keep me from drowning. And when I walk through the fires of oppression, Your unfailing love will keep the flames at bay so that I am not consumed.*
Lord, even so, I know that the devil is a strong adversary, and he prowls around like a roaring lion looking for prey to devour.* I am not strong enough to fight off his temptations and his lures, so I pray for You to give power to the weak and strength to the powerless.* Enable me to scale any wall and crush any enemy.* Come, El Shaddai, and from Your glorious, unlimited resources empower me with inner strength through Your Spirit* and let me always believe I can do all things through Christ who gives me the strength.*
