The Durango Stage: A Western Trio
Farmers have been induced to settle on land in the high desert country of Oregon in “Grangers, Get Your Guns,” but sufficient water has not been supplied as promised. Ed Rawlins is a former gunfighter who has decided to settle down and farm, but when the water company hires gunfighters to discourage those who are complaining about too little water, Rawlins will have to bring out his guns again to help the farmers.

About the Author:
Wayne D. Overholser: Wayne D. Overholser (1906 1996) won three Spur Awards from the Western Writesrs of America and has a long list of fine Western titles to his credit. Buckaroo’s Code was his first Western novel and remains one of his best. His stores are based on a solid knowledge of the history and customs of the nineteenth-century West, particularly when set in his two favorite Western states, Oregon and Colorado.
