The animated pictures show that as Mom gets madder and madder, she begins to turn into a monster, with her appendages and ears turning green and wild--until the kids save the day, Mom calms down, and the visitors arrive to find a home in beautiful order. The fun is in the chaotic details as the kids throw tantrums in the supermarket, make an obstacle course on the lawn, help themselves to the carefully prepared meal (including the chocolate off the top of the cake), and see their mother transformed into a creature of smoke and flames with a terrible roar.
