Synopsis

Veronica Thornton, a Rome expert, has won an all expense paid trip from her college to visit the one and only Rome. She couldn’t be happier. All through her packing and airport experience, her spirits rise by the minute. But on her flight there, something mysterious happens and her plane isn’t on the radar anymore. When she arrives at her so called “destination”, danger is lurking around every corner, and Veronica doesn’t know who to trust. About the Author:

Alekya Srinivasan is a twelve year old seventh grader at Owen J. Roberts School District in Spring City, Pennsylvania. She is an avid reader and became inspired to write after reading the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. Alekya’s interests are writing, reading, music, and meteorology. She has been playing violin since the third grade and continues to play as part of the school and district orchestras, as well as the Reading Symphony Junior Strings Orchestra. Alekya lives in Pennsylvania with her dad, mom, and seven year old sister Sneha.
