About the Author:

Ghalib has decade long Java programming experience from being a Software Engineering student to becoming a Senior Software Engineer in Australian IT industry. He played a pivotal role in setting up IT infrastructure in two startups before joining Luxottica Group where he came across IRIS - a J2EE Webapp with SAP integration which was used extensively in all Luxottica stores in Asia Pacific. He then went on to work for HSBC Bank Australia before joining NSW Government as a Java/J2EE Software Engineer. He was instrumental in development of Court Notices project which ensured its user base quadruple @ NSW Police Force. Having worked extensively for two State Government departments for many years, he joined SAS Institute and worked in very complex & challenging projects with large Banks & other SAS customers. He then went on to work for a Australian Government Department as Senior Java Developer prior to joining MLC as a Consultant. During his brief stint in Canberra, he developed a penchant for mobile app development. He co-founded an IT Consulting firm and wanted to put his Java background to developing apps for Android OS.
