War is coming to Ardunno. For five hundred years, corrupt despots have ruled Ardunno with an iron hand. But now, High King Theogood is about to return to reclaim his realm, and put an end to injustice. Hobby Baxter, a timid baker from the village of Linden Grove, is a most unlikely leader and hero. He has spent most of his life avoiding the village bully. But an encounter with King Theogood plunges Hobby into an odyssey which transforms him, and changes forever the course of Ardunno’s history.
