About the Author:

James Mays is an accredited automobile historian and a member of the SAH. The Golden Quill winner is an honourary employee of American Motors Canada Limited and the official corporate biographer of AMC Canada. More than 500 of his articles have appeared in various old car periodicals. The University of Windsor maintains an archive of Mays' autmotive articles and interviews.

The author is a graduate of Andrews University in Michigan and Concordia University in Montreal where he lives with a 1969 Ambassador station wagon named Blanche Divine.
