About the Author:

Pamela Christie researched her novels by hiking the land she writes about, digging deep to understand the kind of people who colonized the Spanish southwest. Educated at Bryn Mawr College, Pitzer College and the University of Caifornia at Berkeley, she has lived and worked in New Mexico for over 30 years, both in a small mountain village and in Santa Fe.
