After 42 long years, David Meyers, CIA director for Eastern Block Affairs, has finally discovered the identity of the man who murdered his parents in East Berlin in 1953. He now uses his power and sources to launch a private vendetta against the killer and manipulates a childhood friend, John Dabner from Tiburon, California, a writer and researcher, to hunt the murderer down. Dabner embarked upon a journey to Russia, Germany and England and into a tangle of nearly deadly confrontations with the new Russian Mafia, former agents of the East German Secret service (Stasi), the CIA and the British MI-5. He is only able to save his life by calling upon his knowledge and training as a former member of the Special Forces once in operation in Vietnam.

Dabner, who is first unaware that he is doing anything more than some general research on former East Germany's finances, eventually learns that the man he is searching for, Alexander Schenk, a former general in the Stasi, murdered his parents in 1953. Schenk had been in charge of producing badly needed hard currency for East Germany , which included arms deals with Iran, Iraq, Chile and South Africa.

Everything centers around an account of fifty million dollars in England that is stained with blood - the commission from a Schenk-brokered weapon deal with Iraq. Two signatures are required to access the account - General Schenk and one of his closest associates, a Major Seidel. But after Seidel was killed in a car accident and the East German government collapses, the power of attorney disappear, and Schenk knows that a former member of the party must possess the mandatory. Schenk and his cohorts begin to methodically kill former Stasi and party officials to find the bank mandatory. Over a period of six years, 27 men die under most unbearable form of torture, and the more die, the closer Schenk feels he is getting on the one he seeks.

Now John Dabner begins to hunt down the murderer of his parents. It is suddenly his personal hunt. But there is a man who wants Schenk even more, and unknown to Dabner or Schenk, this is the real hunter behind the decoy. His stalk began 25 years ago in the far northern part of Siberia, where a woman hunter, a Shaman, taught him patience.

This is a story of love and hate, of betrayal and passion. The story of four men - John Dabner, Alexander Schenk, David and Robert Meyers - and one woman, Vera Anderson, who is caught in the deadly crossfire of their loyalties and love.

Vera, despite her great love for John, cannot make the mental brake with the old system accept by killing herself, and thus becoming the ultimate hero -- heroin.

Based on the screenplay by Jurgen Dalluge, this book is not available in bookstores.

About the Author:
The real life of Jurgen Dalluge reads like a political thriller. It is nevertheless, non fiction. His expertises on both sides of the Iron Curtain render him well-prepared to write highly credible stories and screenplays on international and political intrigue.

From 1961 to 1967, Dalluge traveled as ship engineer assistant for East Germany to Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Finland, Russia (San Petersburg) and Poland. In 1968 he went to Hungry and was trapped there because of the Russian invasion into Czechoslovakia. He was suspended from his 'privileges' to travel, after discussing openly the advantages of the USA over East Europe.

From then on he trained physically and mentally his his escape from East Germany across the Baltic Sea, by swimming over a long distance to Sweden.

Finally breaking through the border at the North coast of East Germany he swam for 1 = day and one night. He was apprehended about half way across in international water by the East German Navy and brought back to East Germany. He was than left completely naked and locked up in a five by eight foot concrete cell for two days in the State Security (Stasi) prison in Rostock, wounded and untreated. Next he was transported to the famous 'Red Ox', a special Stasi

Prison in Halle and kept isolated for 5 weeks in silence, before his first interrogation. He was finally sentenced to 42 months for high treason (escaping from East Germany was considered high treason) and later transferred to the Stasi prison in Cottbus, "specialized" in political prisoners.

After 14 months, in May 1975, Dalluge was bought out by the West German Government and Amnesty International and released to West Germany.

He next worked for Bong Mining Company in West Africa as diesel power plant engineer. The plant at this time was the largest of its kind in the world. Dalluge witnessed several strikes at Bong Mining, which were aimed at toppling the Liberian Government, as the West African coast played a major strategical role during the Cold War. The plant and mine was placed under round the clock security protection.

From 1979 to 1981, Dalluge was stationed in Saudi Arabia, where he was in charge for a pipeline project - the new fuel and supply system from refinery Jedda 'B' to the new airport. Next he went to South Saudi Arabia, Gezan, to set up an off-shore project together with Franc's CMP. There he worked with Pakistanis, Thais, Sudanese, Somaliens and Indians. On numerous occasions Dalluge came together with Abu Djamal in Abu Arish, who claimed to be the PLO group leader for the section Saudi Arabia.

In 1981, Dalluge went to Thailand were he developed the infra structure for the Lang Kabul oil field (later called the Sirikit) for Thai-Shell. The American-Canadian drilling rig

'Sedco 92' was target of a guerilla attack and the oil field was placed under full time guard of professional mercenaries and the Thai Army. During this time Dalluge's house in Pitsanuloke, was under constant protection of the Thai Army, which was arranged by the former military governor of the Muang district.

Dalluge traveled extensively through Brazil, Peru, Guatemala, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and the South Pacific. He is widowed and wrote two screenplays, a novel about the collapse of the political systems of the former East Block. He is now working on his second novel and screenplay.

He is owner of a company called Unique Sounds, which successfully markets and sells the products he invents and manufactures.
