Warren Jones has educated two generations of landscape architects at the University of Arizona, before his promotion to professor emeritus. Jones currently serves on the advisory board of the Boyce Thompson Southwest Arboretum in Superior, Arizona, and as a consultant in arid regions throughout the world. He is also a fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architecture and a recipient of the Lifetime Award given by the University of Arizona. The Arizona Green Industry offers a scholarship to Los Angeles students in his name. Warren Jones is the coauthor of Plants for Dry Climates, Fisher Books, 1998.
