From the Author:

Way back in 1983 I wrote what was to be my first book of several on the subject of aromatherapy.As I was writing from personal experience of utilising essential oils for skin and health care, using oils throughout pregnancy, childbirth and to help raise my three children, I wrote the first half in two weeks. The remainder of the book took a few months (followed by an eon of editing!) and in 1985 the original UK published version was on sale.  Aromatherapy for Women was the third aromatherapy book ever to have been written in the English language. People refer to me as 'an aromatherapist' but I have never treated 'clients' and have no official accreditation.  I wrote my first book straight from the heart and it is completely anecdotal. I love aromatherapy and essential oils. 

About the Author:

Maggie Tisserand has worked with and loved essential oils and other natural remedies for more than 20 years. She lives in Dorset, SouthWest England. Her latest book took over three years to research and write.  Aromatherapy vs MRSA will be published in autumn 2014.
