Book Description Hardcover. Condition: Very Good ++. B/W Photographs (illustrator). First Edition. Driven out of Eatonia, Saskatchewan by the Depression of the 1930's the Hahn family settled in St. Walburg, near the Alberta border. A few years of `bush' farming played on the father's mind and he opted to build a trailer and form his four children into a musical troupe - the birth of the Harmony Kids. The author's first job was playing piano in a cinema between the changing of the reels. These 180 pages - including epilogue - detail the farming and travelling Hahns during `hard times'. They made it all the way to New York. TEXT assisted by b/w photos - some of the publicity type.
