Do you and your spouse fight endlessly or are you both silent and distant? Reasons for marital strife are endless: changes in personality, boredom, alcohol, loneliness, money issues, midlife crisis and in some cases an affair. When a marriage fails, it is more than likely that both partners are responsible for not taking control of their relationship by insight, patience, commitment, humor, flexibility and hard work. Successful marriages involve two people who are willing and have the courage to actively explore ways to communicate and do things better. Marriages do not succeed due to some outside force. The power to maintaining a healthy and happy marriage is within each partner.

The Good Enough Spouse will give you the tools to repair, revive and restructure to achieve a close, satisfying union. Written in a personal tone it is filled with real life case histories and paractical tips that can bring love and excitement back to a dimming relationship. Dr. William Ward, with over thirty years of experience counseling couples, provides the keys to making your marriage a successful one, by turning marital conflict into opportunities for growth. He reveals how not to repeat past mistakes, tips to select a partner for healthy reasons and techniques to avoiding common mistakes for forging a fulfilling partnership.

We must recognize that relationships are challenges and that a successful marriage cannot exist without insight, willingness to grow and accept responsibility. Ultimately, both partners must take on a "will not fail" outlook.
