About the Author:

Stovall has worked for Corky s for 16 years, beginning in the drive-thru line and working his way up the ladder. He now manages the Cordova restaurant as well as spending about 100 days per year in West Chester, Pa., working on-air with QVC. Jimmy lives in Memphis TN with his wife Lucy, daughter Savannah and son JT.

I am a cookbook collector, who just happens to LOVE Corky's barbecue (I eat there every time I am in Memphis and usually bring sauce home with me). So purchasing this cookbook was a no brainer. There seems to be a good variety of recipes from appetizers to sweets. I've only had a chance to try a couple of recipes and my family enjoyed them all. My favorite so far has been the BBQ nachos (made with both chicken and pork). Not only are the recipes tantalizing, the lay-out of the book is super. Great illustrations and photography....it is like a real collection. This book is going to stay in our home, I bought it for a gift but decided I needed it more than my friend does!. Being from the SOUTH - I just loved this cookbook...great pictures, great stories about the folks at Corky's and from the folks that gave recipes... yummy just flippin thru the pages...can't wait to try some of these recipes.... AND it has a recipe for mashed potatoes from one of my favorite Hotels...the Peadbody - which has a great restaurant...so I know that will be a great recipe. Also gave a number of recipes for different rubs/sauces so you have a great choice...and if you love southern ribs/chicken/bbq - sides & desserts & beverages - this is the book for YOU! --QVC.com
