About the Author:

Jil Eaton is an internationally acclaimed knitwear designer specializing in sophisticated children's designs. After a multifaceted art education at Skidmore College, Colby College, and the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Eaton ran her own graphic design enterprise, Small Pond Studios, for fifteen years before combining her love of knitting with her artistic expertise. Since 1990, she has published and distributed worldwide a collection of hand-knitting patterns under the MinnowKnits® label. A veteran knitter and designer, Eaton publishes annual pattern collections, writes books, and designs for Vogue Knitting International, as well as other knitting magazines. She has written several books, including Big Fish, Little Fish. She lives in Portland, Maine, with her husband and son.
