From School Library Journal:
Grade 5-8 --Two titles that explain how these two modes of transportation have evolved. Most of the ``chapters'' consist of two-page spreads containing about ten well-drawn, detailed, full-color illustrations. Short, information-packed captions are clearly related to their drawings by use of arrows. The general texts--usually no more than 200 words for each topic--are quite readable, although no attempt was made to control vocabularies. An illustrated timeline appears at the end of each volume. These oversized surveys will attract young readers and serve as introductions. --Don Reaber, Meadowdale High School, Lynnwood, WA
