About the Author:

Homer Hickam was born and raised in Coalwood, West Virginia. In addition to the acclaimed memoirs, he is the author of Torpedo Junction and Back to the Moon. He lives with his wife Linda in Huntsville, Alabama, where they share their home with four cats.
